2nd Cavalry Regiment's return to Germany ceremony held in Vilseck September 2006. The old trooper with the bagpipes displaying the mini-regimental standard is Merritt Powell, the regiment's piper. The standard has a panel embroidered with the names of the 2nd Cavalry KIA from the Gulf War. Merritt tries to attend all the memorials to play the bagpipes.
