3.5 Percent Pay Raise is Back in Effect Week of 11 February, 2008

Active-duty servicemembers will receive retroactive earnings this month, followed by a supplemental payday for non-active personnel. The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) signed into law Jan. 28, 2008 by President Bush stipulates a 3.5 percent military pay raise.

2008 Basic Pay Rates for Commissioned Officers with
Over 4 Years Active Duty Service as Enlisted or Warrant Officer

Commissioned officers with more than four years of active duty service as an enlisted member or a warrant officer are paid at a special rate, up until they reach the grade of O-3. The below chart shows the base pay for commissioned officers who have more than four years of active duty service as an enlisted member or a warrant officer, if the Senate version of the bill is passed:
