If you have completed a spur ride and received a pair of 'traditional' prince of wales spurs, these are the beefier version. The Rowels are nice and loud when you walk but they don't protrude too far out to where they would mark up the furniture (not too bad at least). definitely get the straps for these spurs because the classic spur straps are thinner and will not fit correctly. Overall excellent product and would highly recommend if you want to set yourself apart from the rest of your squadron.
