My folks got me this hat as soon as they found out I was going to 2CR in Germany, I was constantly getting asked where I got it and how much it was. I wore it for three years at every occasion allowed. It never got stained or messed up, even with German winters and "Induction Ceremonies ( Hazing)". It's durable and better than what they sold on post. All in all, you get what you pay for, and I'll call this a good investment if you want something to remember when you get older.
I ordered the pinch front hat and received the cattle mans hat. I have read several reviews with the same complaint. Recommend looking for a different store.
